Introduction to Mindfulness for Stress

Join me for these fun and accessible lunchtime mini mindfulness sessions where you will learn practical mindfulness tools and techniques to enable you to soothe stress and improve your wellbeing and mental health.


Evidence shows that just 10 minutes of daily mindfulness practice can improve wellbeing, ease depression and anxiety, and help people to be more motivated to improve their lifestyle – including healthier exercise, eating and sleeping habits.

  • How to incorporate mindfulness of the body into your daily life

  • Understand some basics about the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous Systems, the importance of soothing and self-regulation, and how stress occurs when our system is dysregulated or out of balance
  • Understand and experience how Kindness practice and simple self-regulation activities can help them to 'turn up' the contentment/soothing system, lowering levels of stress
